About a third of the company&#8217;s turnover already comes from exports, but in order to improve its competitiveness in the global market, the company must invest in increasing the efficiency and self-sufficiency of its production process in order to survive in cost competition. Minimizing freight costs and self-sufficiency in manufacturing improves agility, minimizes supply chain transportation costs and carbon emissions, and reduces sensitivity to supply chain disturbances. In the traditional field of manufacturing industry, competition against larger international players is no longer possible with a decentralized supply chain. Industrial operation conditions in the cutting-edge processes of circular economy and hydrogen technology are clearly different from those in conventional ones and, therefore, materials used in the equipment and assets need to respond to completely new requirements.
